Activities

Picture
Children's Church is a special time where preschoolers and elementary children get to experience a worship time just for them. This is where they focus on God and experience Children's Worship through uplifting songs, games, crafts and memorable Bible lessons. The children will be leave the worship service just before the scripture reading and sermon.

VBS

Each year we invite the children of the community to come learn more about God with us for a week. This is a very exciting time in our church. The church is full of children, youth and adult volunteers that are excited about a week of fun and fellowship. The kids learn daily Bible messages through music, Bible dramas, crafts, games and snacks.

Family Fun

Picture
As a church, we are committed to the preservation and the building up of the family. Throughout the year, we have activities that include the entire family. Some of the family activites we have are an Easter Egg Hunt, Summer Swim Party and Cookout, and a fall hayride with a hotdog cookout, fishing, games and pumpkin decorating. Sometimes we have movie night, go bowling or skating. Beacuse of these times together, great friendships develop.

Acolytes

Children serve each week during the 10:00 am service as acolytes, or candle-lighters. Generally, children are ready to begin serving as an acolyte in either Kindergarten or 1st Grade, depending on maturity,. Acolyte training is held each year in August or provided on an individual basis throughout the year as needed.
