| Children's Ministries The children's department serves all children through 5th grade and strives to provide opportunities to highlight and educate our children throughout the year. Children's Church is provided on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. We also provide opportunities for participation in a Christmas Program, Easter Egg Hunt, Family Planning Meetings, Family Fun Nights, Mission Projects, and many other events throughout the year. One of our favorite times of the year is Vacation Bible School. Each summer, we have the opportunity to minister to over 150 children and youth through our Bible School Ministry. |
| Acolytes Two children serve each week during the 10:50 a.m. Sunday Morning Worship Service as acolytes (candle-lighters). Generally, children are ready to begin serving as an acolyte in either Kindergarten or 1st Grade, depending on maturity. Acolyte training is held each year in August, or provided on an individual basis throughout the year as needed. | Sunday School Noah's Ark-(Age 3- 1st Grade) Lead by Kathy McCauley, Paula Morris and Syndi Rowe Young Disciples-(2nd-3rd) Lead by Lisa Longbrake Young Followers-(4th-5th) Lead by Sarah Dooley, Laresa Boyle and Tracy Palmer We will be keeping attendance for Sunday School, and for every five times your child comes to Sunday School they will be able to visit a treasure chest. We also have class incentives where the children can earn class parties. Parents! There are at least 3 great adult Sunday School classes you are welcome to attend during the Sunday School hour. There will also be a new hospitality table in the Southwest Corner of the Fellowship Hall that will be available each week with coffee and cookies if you would rather just sit and visit. |
